Experienced MakerLocation: Leyton, E10 7NHSalary: £35,000-£40,000 (dependent on experience)Contract: Full-time, PermanentBenefits: Company pension, 20 days paid holiday per yearAbout UsConstructive and Co, make and install thoughtful, meticulously crafted furniture in collaboration with designers, architects and private clients.We believe great work comes from great people, and we've built an inclusive, supportive workshop where collaboration, initiative and pride in craftsmanship are central to how we operate.We follow a clear set of design principles, and we're looking for someone who values the design process as much as the making itself.The RoleWe are looking for a dedicated, full-time maker with a can-do attitude to join our small, established team.You'll take responsibility for leading elements of projects, contributing to detailing, problem solving and communicating clearly with the wider team throughout each build.You'll work on a wide range of bespoke, often complex furniture projects, so the ability to interpret CAD and technical drawings with accuracy is essential.This is a role for someone who consistently strives for a high standard of finish, enjoys tackling technical challenges and works well both independently and collaboratively.Essential Skills & Experience:Completed apprenticeship (or equivalent formal training) in furniture making or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years' experience in a professional wood workshopStrong ability to read and work confidently from CAD/technical drawingsExperience leading aspects of projects, including detailing and workshop problem solvingDemonstrated commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and working to refined standardsProactive, self-motivated approach with strong critical-thinking skillsClear communicator who enjoys working collaboratively within a small teamAlignment with our design principles and an interest in thoughtful, design-led makingEligible to work in the UKGood command of spoken and written EnglishIf you feel you have the dedication, skill and attitude to thrive in this role, please click APPLY and send an up-to-date copy of your CV for consideration.No agencies, please.TPBN1_UKTJ
