Social Worker - Permanence Team
Salary : £40,369 - £43,686

The Permanence Team is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to work collaboratively with families and support children looked after by the Local Authority with a Care Plan of adoption. This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where youll help children achieve stability and security for their future.
About the Role
As part of the Permanence Team, you will :
* Undertake court work proceedings.
* Use evidence-based interventions to effect positive change.
* Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and carers.
* Work closely with colleagues in the Children in Care Service and external partners.
* Manage your workload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet timescales.
About You
* Recognised Social Work qualification (degree / diploma) and registered with Social Work England.
* Experience working with looked after children (LAC), court teams, or safeguarding services.
* Previous experience of adoption and Child Permanence Report (CPR) writing.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
* Skilled in conflict resolution and collaborative working.
