A new opportunity to join the Procurement Team at Nottinghamshire County Council has become available. The Council are seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to work with the Strategy, Compliance and Systems Team as part of an award winning and proactive procurement team.
What is involved?
This compliance role will report to the Strategy, Systems and Compliance Manager. You will have responsibility for:
* Providing advice and guidance to customers, business partners and others on procurement processes and compliance
* Undertaking all compliance and transparency activities resulting from the implementation of the new Procurement Regulations
* Providing general advice and guidance on the Council’s Financial Regulations and new Procurement Regulations
* Monitoring and reporting on procurement performance
* To champion the use of eProcurement solutions to drive efficiencies across the Council
* Supporting the procurement team with activities within the procurement process including invoicing methods, award notifications, due diligence checks, award notices.
You will also have a high level of personal drive, strong interpersonal skills, a positive can-do attitude and relevant experience. This role is well suited to a highly motivated positive individual who is seeking a real opportunity to make a difference and work with the team to drive improvements into commercial practice across the whole organisation.
