Our Environment Division Our Environment Business provides asset delivery capability across the UK and Scotland, working on both Frameworks and standalone projects. Since AMP3, we have delivered more than £2bn of assets for clients such as Yorkshire Water, United Utilities, Anglian Water, Thames Water, Southern Water, Welsh Water and Scottish Water. Purpose of the Role As Framework HS&E Manager, you will be part of the Framework senior leadership team, leading on all health, safety, and environmental aspects. You will be accountable for developing and executing the HS&E strategy across the Framework to ensure our operations meet exemplary safety, health, and environmental standards. This is a pivotal role in driving cultural change, ensuring compliance with management systems, and embedding continual improvement. You will also sit within the wider HS&E team, reporting to the Head of HS&E, and will have the opportunity to influence HS&E strategy for the Environment business and wider group. Key Accountabilities Lead and assure the HS&E strategy, driving continual improvement and long-term growth. Champion our behavioural programme “Challenging Beliefs, Affecting Behaviours” through site visits and leadership engagement. Manage and assure the HS&E management system, aligning with client requirements and driving efficiency. Develop and report on framework HS&E strategy, KPIs, and performance metrics. Engage with key stakeholders including clients, supply chain partners, regulators, and industry bodies. Lead, coach, and develop the HS&E function, fostering a learning culture and supporting growth. Deliver training programmes to HS&E and operational teams. Influence decision-making at framework level, embedding best practice and ensuring consistency in performance. About You Significant HS&E leadership experience in infrastructure, water, or a regulated industry. NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent in OHS). Full driving licence and willingness to travel UK-wide. Proven experience in developing and delivering HS&E strategies. Skilled communicator, able to influence at all levels from site to boardroom. Track record in cultural transformation and organisational development. Collaborative leader with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of data analytics and HS&E reporting systems. Experienced in leading and coaching teams to deliver high-performance outcomes. Desirable: Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards. Membership of IOSH/IIRSM (TechIOSH minimum). Experience delivering HS&E in a project lifecycle environment.
