A creative and inclusive 11–18 school in Cheshire is looking to appoint a talented and energetic Teacher of Drama to join its Performing Arts faculty from January 2026.
The school is rated Good by Ofsted and is celebrated locally for its vibrant arts culture, strong sense of community and commitment to developing well-rounded learners. The Performing Arts team plays a key role in shaping that identity.
The Department
The Drama department is housed in a modern theatre complex that includes a black-box performance space, drama studios, and costume and prop workshops. Productions are a highlight of the school calendar, with recent performances ranging from Shakespeare to contemporary musicals. Students also take part in the National Theatre Connections programme and regional drama festivals.
Collaboration is at the heart of the department’s ethos. Teachers work closely with colleagues in Music and Dance, and enrichment opportunities are vast — including Drama Club, technical theatre, and student-led productions.
The Role
You’ll teach Drama across Key Stages 3–4, with the possibility of A-Level teaching for the right candidate. You’ll bring enthusiasm, organisation, and a passion for fostering student creativity and confidence.
