Location: Red Kite School – Buckinghamshire HP27 0JW and Groveside School – Berkshire RG2 7AY (covering both sites).
Salary: Up to £53,200 DOE. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.30pm. Contract: Permanent 52 weeks (Term-Time contract available).

Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils within an education setting.
* Work collaboratively with the education team and contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
* Hold and manage a Speech and Language Therapy caseload with support from a designated clinical supervisor and site lead.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary clinical teams and support the growth of apprentices, students and therapy assistants as appropriate.
* Participate in research projects, special interest groups, and ongoing professional development in line with the OFG Ways of Working.
Essential Criteria
* Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy
* HCPC registered
* Experience engaging with individuals with complex and diverse communication profiles
* Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting
* Experience communicating with families/carers
* Interest in developing knowledge across SaLT practice
* Strong relationship-building, analytical and judgmental skills
* Good oral and written communication, time management and organisational skills
* Competent in core SaLT practice and understanding of RCSLT standards
* Knowledge of SaLT assessment tools and ability to formulate support plans
* Understanding of relevant legislation for clinical practice and management
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
* Willingness to attend training and pursue further qualifications
Desirable
* Understanding of sensory and motor differences affecting communication
* Understanding of arousal levels and communication
* Full driving license and car access (highly desirable)
