You’ll also manage and supervise external engineering contractors to ensure works are completed on time and to agreed standards.
You’ll need to be highly experienced within your trade, as well as have the management, people and communication skills needed to lead an effective team.

Undertaking regular Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and testing of Electrical systems. Recording and analysing results with reference to historical data and determining appropriate actions and providing condition and non‑compliance reports as necessary.
Witnessing the testing of new systems, plant and equipment installed on Trust property. Reconfirming correct operation on a regular basis and providing appropriate training to other Estates staff and users.
Being available for on‑call and out‑of‑hours cover with the availability to be on‑site within 30 minutes of a call (with additional out‑of‑hours pay). You will be required to carry a Trust mobile phone for this purpose and be expected to work under your own initiative with the freedom to make decisions.
