Requirements for the Deputy Nurse Manager role:
* You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN /RNLD
* Active NMC PIN
* Clear DBS.
* Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
* Proven track record of leading a Nursing team and delivery of person-centred care, including care planning

The role of a Deputy Nurse Manager within the Nursing Home involves:
* Being responsible for the management of the nursing services in liaison with the Home Manager
* Promoting and maintaining high standard of nursing care
* Ensuring effective induction of new nursing staff and providing ongoing clinical supervision of trained staff
* Woking within the NMC and CQC standards, alongside internal policies and procedures
* Planning, directing and delivering high quality person-centre care through care planning process
* Overseeing all aspects of medicine management ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
* Undertaking staff reviews through supervision, appraisals and team meetings
* Taking an active role in training the team of nurses to ensure staff are kept up to date with current practices and good practice developments
* Maintaining accurate and relevant documentation and reports to reflect practice and planned development
* Deputising in the absence of the Home Manager
