Job Title: Production Rigger
Location: West End Rigging (WER)
The Production Rigger at West End Rigging (WER) is responsible for the safe assembly, installation, and dismantling of rigging equipment. This role ensures the successful and safe delivery of projects across sectors such as Broadcast, Education, Theatre, and Events, from inception to post-production.
Responsibilities:
1. Project and Equipment Preparation: Collaborate with the Head of Projects to plan and prepare for projects, including producing requisition documents, carnets, packing lists, and managing stock via the inventory system (Current RMS). Undertake job preparation, packing, and delivery, ensuring high standards and efficiency. Maintain an on-site presence during events and inspections. Engage with clients through site visits and virtual meetings to assist in project quoting and identify potential issues, fostering strong client relationships. Ensure safe lifting operations and conduct regular inspections and maintenance of rigging gear, adhering to safety standards.
2. Documentation: Assist in producing accurate project paperwork such as RAMS, delivery, and completion documents, and inspection certificates. Participate actively in the company's Health & Safety policies.
3. Warehouse Responsibilities: Attend the WER warehouse regularly to facilitate communication, plan, and ensure equipment is up-to-date and properly documented for regulatory testing.
Preferred Skills:
* Minimum of 2 years rigging experience
* NRC Level 2 certification
* IPAF/PASMA certification and confident with access equipment
* Health & Safety training/qualification
* Proficiency with IT systems and databases
