Fantastic opportunity for a confident and determined Assistant Accountant to join a local success story. Due to ongoing business growth, this role offers varied responsibilities and excellent exposure across management accounting, financial reporting, and commercial analysis.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be involved in managing sales and purchase ledgers, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, handling accruals and prepayments, reporting on variances, and assisting with budget and forecasting preparations.
Applicants should have a strong academic background, be AAT qualified at minimum, and ideally be actively studying CIMA or ACCA with a commitment to qualifying in the short to medium term. A solid grounding in accounts administration and a drive to expand into broader responsibilities are essential.
Strong knowledge of SAGE 50 and confident Excel skills are required. Interviews are scheduled for this week, so interested candidates should apply urgently.
