Regional Coordinator - North East England
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our team of Coordinators to form part of our Regional Support team. You will be assigned a specific region to form an integral part of the Regional Support team. You will act as the first point of contact for branch managers to resolve operational enquiries and support and provide guidance in relation to people management.
A big focus for the role will be ensuring that staff employed within the branches are suitably trained and competent in their roles to support the smooth operations of the branch. You will liaise closely with the HR department and provide support and guidance to the Pharmacy Managers on a range of issues including recruitment, performance issues, conflict resolution and absence management.

What will the role entail?
* Act as the first point of contact for branch managers to resolve operational enquiries
* Support branch managers with people management in line with HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, performance, conflict resolution and absence management
* Ensure the branches in the region have appropriate levels of staffing by coordinating shared resources for sickness absence, planned holidays, or seasonal demands when required
* Support the branch manager with maintaining excellent branch standards and delivering exceptional customer service
* Liaise with Management Support Pharmacists and Lead Coordinator to ensure achievement of company objectives
* Complete a monthly coordinator report for each branch and ensure actions are followed up and any concerns are highlighted
* Participate in regular conference calls with senior colleagues to discuss branch performance, concerns or achievements
* Attend quarterly coordinator meetings at the Companys Head Office to receive updates, training and guidance
* Act as designate Supervisor/Manager for staff in the absence of a Pharmacy Manager when required
* Provide stand-in cover for other regions as needed (buddy system in place)

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience working within community pharmacy and must be qualified to work both on the counter and within the dispensary area; more senior pharmacy qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working within the community pharmacy industry and is ready to embark on a management support role. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a flexible approach to workload. It is essential that you can build rapport at all levels. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential as regular travel will be required and you must be willing to use your own vehicle.
