Rehabilitation Assistant (Neuro)
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) is seeking a dynamic Band 4 Rehabilitation Assistant to support the delivery of neuro rehabilitation as in‑reach to inpatient rehab beds and working with patients in their own homes.
The post is based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon, with expectations for county‑wide coverage. The successful candidate will use virtual consultations to manage a caseload of patients, requiring a personal vehicle for independent travel.
Responsibilities and key duties:
* Provide multidisciplinary support to patients with physical, cognitive and psychosocial challenges.
* Deliver care alongside Neuro Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and other Rehabilitation Assistants.
* Assist with in‑service training and develop skills through a blended competency package.
* Respond to calls and cover across the South of the county as required.
Training and development:
* In‑service training programme and intensive Trust and local induction.
* Opportunities to undertake a blended competency package for professional growth.
Work environment and requirements:
* Access to a personal vehicle for independent travel.
* Use of smartphone and laptop for virtual consultations.
