Job Summary
Scrub Practitioner – Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) – Theatre Practitioner at Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne. Permanent full‑time (37.5 hrs/week) with weekend work. Salary up to £41,250, depending on experience. Location: Clayton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 1JP.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
* Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
* Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
* Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
* Professional registration currently held.
Experience
* Post‑registration experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment.
* Team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
* Experience in a multidisciplinary surgical setting.
