Established manufacturing organisation seeks an experienced Final Inspector for immediate start. Permanent Contracts offered, varying shifts available, competitive rates of pay and progression opportunities provided.
As Final Inspector you’ll be part of a busy, forward-thinking team, ensuring that finished components meet all required specifications before release. Prior experience in high-precision manufacturing settings, preferably within the automotive or aerospace industries.
Final Inspector duties:
* Conduct final inspections on forged and machined components, ensuring they meet dimensional, visual and documentation standards
* Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers and gauges
* Identify and report non-conformances, raising quality concerns and supporting root cause analysis where needed
* Ensure all components meet customer specifications, internal quality standards and regulatory requirements
* Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement
* Maintain accurate and complete inspection records, ensuring documentation is filed and stored correctly
* Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) guidelines and promote safe working practices
Skills/Experience required for the role of Final Inspector:
* Experience in high-precision manufacturing inspection
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
