This role is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination, and conditioning of Telecommunication and Optical equipment and associated sub-assemblies. Using approved data to maintain the stock.
How you create impact
Enjoy a fantastic working environment with great hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
* Use your skills to maintain items or equipment ranging from batteries to radio systems.
* Understand Risk Assessments and Risk Controls, including how to identify risks.
* Follow all Safe Working Practices and report accidents and incidents in the workplace.
* Participate in WIs/SOPs and process reviews, helping identify necessary updates and rewrites.
* Work within current policies, procedures, and management guidance.
* Collaborate with others to achieve required outcomes.
What we would like you to bring
* Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent.
* Experience with inventory management systems (desirable).
* Ability to understand and work with approved data.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Leadership qualities to motivate and enthuse others.
* Drive, determination, and a record of continuous improvement.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
