Linton Lodge is a 87-bedroom hotel located in the leafy residential area of North Oxford, just a short distance from Oxford city centre. As part of an exciting period of development and growth, we are looking for a professional, reliable and guest-focused Night Supervisor to join our team.
This is a key role within the hotel operation, responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient running of the hotel overnight while delivering excellent guest service.

The Role
As Night Supervisor, you will oversee the hotel during the night shift, acting as the main point of contact for guests and the team, ensuring the highest standards of service, safety, and security are maintained.
You will work closely with the Reception and Operations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience from evening through to morning.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervising the night shift and ensuring smooth hotel operations overnight
• Acting as the main point of contact for guest enquiries and late arrivals
• Completing night audit procedures and preparing reports for management
• Ensuring all health & safety and fire safety procedures are followed
• Conducting regular fire walks and security checks throughout the property
• Handling guest requests, complaints and emergency situations professionally
• Preparing the hotel for the morning shift and early departures
• Supporting reception duties including check-ins, check-outs and reservations
• Ensuring public areas remain clean, safe and presentable

What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in hotel reception or night operations preferred
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility overnight
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Good understanding of hotel systems and night audit procedures (training provided if required)
• Calm and professional approach in challenging situations
• Reliable and punctual
