A high-achieving and forward-thinking 11–18 secondary school in Reading is seeking a passionate Science ECT to join their well-established Science Faculty from January 2026.

About the Role
This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach Science across KS3–KS5, with scope to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. The appointed teacher will be supported through a comprehensive induction programme designed to nurture confidence, pedagogy, and professional growth.
You will:
• Deliver inspiring lessons that develop curiosity, inquiry, and experimentation
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Incorporate hands-on experiments and digital tools into lessons
• Contribute to co-curricular initiatives such as STEM clubs and science fairs
ECT Support and Development
• Two-year induction programme with a subject mentor
• Weekly CPD and collaborative planning sessions

Experience and Qualifications
• PGCE with QTS (or pending) in a Science discipline
• Strong practical and communication skills
