About The Role
Internally, we refer to this position as Production Controller. We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Controller to join our friendly team, working from our Western region and based at our head office in Exeter, on a permanent contract.
As a Production Controller, you will support the Construction Director and Site teams in coordinating, administering, and ensuring compliance across all sites within the region.
Your duties will include:
* Managing diaries and scheduling meetings
* Event planning and coordination, including organizing site meetings and training
* Supporting inductions for all levels of the site team
* Ordering site uniforms, IT equipment, and stationery
* Managing NHBC and CCS registrations
* Assisting with collation and binding of documentation for Contractor Reports
* Maintaining holiday forms and charts, and identifying coverage risks
* Compiling and maintaining plot files to ensure documentation is available for practical completion, along with daily electronic filing of site documentation
* Collating and inputting Build and Sales information
* Filing plot sign-off sheets and recording accordingly
* Coordinating purchase orders
* Supporting recruitment and agency usage
* Answering the office intercom and managing door access
* Supporting PA/Office admin duties and providing cover during lunch breaks and holidays
About You
* Previous administrative experience is essential
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with IT systems or project management tools
* Professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
* Previous construction industry experience is a plus but not required
* Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations in the workplace
* Full UK driving license
