Adaptable Recruitment is working with a growing business in Liverpool City Centre to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys accuracy, organisation, and working as part of a supportive team.
Duties include:
Processing, verifying, and coding supplier and subcontractor invoices in line with company procedures
Ensuring all invoices are correctly authorised by relevant managers before payment
Managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, responding promptly to queries and resolving issues
Maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring correct allocation to cost centres and departmental codes
Monitoring and following up on outstanding or disputed invoices to ensure timely resolution and payment
Assisting with month-end reconciliations, reporting, and other routine accounts payable activities
Providing general administrative and finance support to the wider team as required
Ideal person:
At least one year of experience in a finance or AP role.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
Confident using accounting systems, preferably experience with SAP
Good communication skills and able to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
