Graduate Building Surveyor

Our client are a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy, projects are typically in the residential, mixed use, commercial, leisure and education sectors. The role will offer you a variety of work in a wide range of Building Surveying duties such as Contract Administration, Condition Surveys, Technical Due Dilligence and Dilapidations, allowing you to complete your APC and become chartered. All About The Role
Responsibilities will include:
1. Working as a proactive team player
2. Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects and liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
3. Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
4. Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
5. Supporting the senior managers in the day-to-day running of the business
6. Maintaining commercial and quality control procedures for projects under your control
7. Managing relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues
8. Conducting individual study in your own time towards achieving chartered surveyor status
All About You
Requirements:
9. Degree in Building Surveying
10. Good technical writing and communication skills (both internal and external)
11. Developing skills in project management, EPCs/FRAs, repairs and maintenance and condition assessment beneficial (ongoing training will be provided)
12. Strong numeracy skills
13. Ability to foster relationships with professionals of all level
14. Analytical approach to problem-solving
15. Commitment to the company’s rigorous training programm
16. Well-organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage their time
17. A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
