Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Warrington (WA3)

An inclusive and welcoming Church of England primary school in Warrington is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2, delivering high-quality learning support while playing an active role in the wider school community.
In this role, you’ll lead small group sessions, deliver pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence, and provide targeted interventions to help raise pupil attainment. The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and committed to fostering pupil progress both academically and socially.
The school is well-located with easy access to the M62 and M6, good public transport links, and free on-site parking.
Requirements:
* HLTA status or relevant Level 4 qualification.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Experience working in a primary school setting, with the ability to lead class sessions when required.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* A positive, proactive approach to supporting children's education.
* Solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
