External Contracts Manager Eastleigh / Bracknell / Yeovil Up to £48,383 per annum (DOE) 37 hours per week Permanent | Full Time We are currently recruiting for an experienced External Contracts Manager to join a busy Property Care team within a leading Housing Association. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and contractor management experience to take ownership of a major roofing programme alongside a range of externally delivered maintenance contracts including windows, doors, roofing and external works projects.The Role
* Managing externally sourced maintenance and refurbishment contracts
* Overseeing roofing replacement programmes and specialist external works
* Ensuring contractors deliver works to agreed quality, budget and timescales
* Building strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders while driving service improvements
* Monitoring financial, contractual and compliance performance
* Managing specialist maintenance projects requiring technical expertise
* Attending sites, contractor meetings and office collaboration days across the region
About You
* Experience working within a Housing Association or social housing environment
* Strong technical understanding of property maintenance and external works
* Experience managing contractors, programmes and project delivery
* Confident challenging performance and driving continuous improvement
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region
