Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant

Salary: £500 - £550 a week

Key Responsibilities
Support class teachers in delivering planned lessons, activities and interventions.
Provide effective support to pupils across Reception and Year 1 in group and whole class settings.
Deliver tailored 1:1 support to identified pupils to help them access learning and make strong progress.
Assist with planning, preparation and development of learning resources.
Observe, monitor and record pupil achievement, progress and behaviour, and provide feedback to teachers.
Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, purposeful learning environment.
Support the social, emotional and pastoral needs of pupils within the school community.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external professionals to support pupil needs.
Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with early years and Key Stage 1 pupils.
Is passionate about supporting childrens learning, wellbeing and development.
Has a good understanding of early years pedagogy and the needs of Reception/Year 1 children.
Demonstrates strong communication skills with children, colleagues and parents.
Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Is organised, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of practice.
Holds relevant qualifications or training in education, child development, or related areas (Desirable)
