1. Position: Production Technician
2. Salary: £27,230 – £30,230
3. Location: Worthing
4. Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm (to start) from June 2026, a mixture of early and lates on a rotating shift pattern (week 1: 6am to 2pm & week 2: 2pm – 10pm)

We are recruiting for Production Technicians to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Worthing. Due to a newly approved drug and increased production demand, the company is expanding its team and introducing new shift patterns.
The Production Technician role involves working in a regulated, sterile environment, following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will be required to work in Grade A, B and C cleanrooms while wearing full PPE to maintain sterile conditions.
As part of the production team, you will contribute to the manufacture of specialist allergy treatments that improve patient lives worldwide.
As a Production technician, your key responsibilities will include:
6. Manufacturing batches to strict GMP standards
7. Vial collation, set-up and processing within cleanroom areas
8. Completing batch documentation and logbooks to GMP standards
9. Transferring batches from clean suites
10. Performing stock checks to support continuous production
11. Cleaning and preparing areas pre- and post-manufacturing
12. Removing expired stock in line with procedures
Requirements for the Production Technician:
13. Experience in a production or technical environment
14. GMP experience (advantageous but not essential)
15. Ability to work in a cleanroom wearing full PPE
16. Excellent attention to detail and dexterity
17. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
18. Comfortable working to processes, documentation and quality standards

The Production Technician is a full‑time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm to begin with. From June 2026, you will move onto a rotating shift pattern: Week 1 (6am–2pm) and Week 2 (2pm–10pm). Once on the rotating shifts, you will receive a 15% shift allowance paid monthly, taking your salary up to £33,315.
