Materials Handler - Manufacturing/Raw Materials

At our Golborne site (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues' who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers.
Main purpose of the role - To ensure the control and flow of raw materials to the production department is optimized. Works closely with other team members to mitigate any material impacts on the production plan.
Responsibilities
* To ensure the control of raw material is optimized for the department
* Loading and unloading of materials for the department (use of FLT)
* Ensure all areas within he job scope are maintained to high level of housekeeping
* To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with good H&S practice
* Works with other departments to ensure the material flow is in accordance with the production plan
Experience Required
* Previously held a position within a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment ideally supporting movement of products and/or materials
* Must hold valid FLT license / Counterbalance
* Excellent team player and can communicate effectively
* Knowledge and awareness of health and safety procedures within a busy manufacturing environment
