Job Description
Join a 12‑month Data & Analytics Placement Programme at our Head Office in Watford (Marketing, Customer Service, Finance or Logistics). You will support D&A work, analyse large datasets, convert insights into narratives or recommendations, and build data, analytical and visualisation skills through structured training and modern systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain datasets and dashboards using SQL, Python, Snowflake and Power BI.
* Support D&A projects such as descriptive analysis, trend investigation, segmentation, exploratory modelling and test‑and‑learn initiatives.
* Scope and refine analytical briefs, produce actionable insights and translate data into recommendations for stakeholders.
* Identify process‑improvement or automation opportunities in reports, workflows or data assets and share knowledge across the D&A community.
Qualifications & Skills
* Student on a sandwich degree, in a numerate, analytical or data‑focused programme.
* SQL / Python skills with an interest or early experience in data & analytics tools.
* Analytical mindset: enjoy breaking down problems, exploring data and drawing simple, logical conclusions.
* Comfortable working with large datasets, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Strong communication skills: translate findings into simple, meaningful messages for non‑technical audiences.
* Curious and proactive: eager to understand key business drivers and commercial performance.
* Organised, delivery‑focused: take initiative, balance changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment and remain flexible.
* Collaborative team player: enjoy learning from others and contributing to a supportive, inquisitive culture.
