Sales Operations Analyst - Northern Cluster - Urology
The main objective of this position is to collaborate with the Sales Leadership team, Commercial Contracting Manager (CCM) or/and KAM (Key Account Manager) allocated in the region/cluster and support by: i) identifying potential business areas of opportunities, ii) contributing to complete the offers/tenders that need to be addressed and iii) monitoring that the execution of the existing contracts and agreements adheres to expectations.
The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will use the existing information in our BSC data platforms (account potentials, Price-Index values, GPO price comparison, revenues, target public list of tenders, etc.) to support data-driven commercial decision making.
Your focus region/cluster will be France, UK, Belgium, Luxemburg, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
Although the SOA is not expected to be in the front line (discussing directly with the customer or managing negotiations), it is required that he/she can speak the same language as the Commercial Leadership team to provide appropriate support. Native language skills are preferred for reading and understanding tenders / RfQs / contract documents generated by hospitals/GPOs to support negotiations.
Your main areas of responsibility are
* Complete ad-hoc and routine analytical requests to drive profitable deals and support sales in commercial decision-making. This includes GPO profitability/performance, customer P&Ls, deal modelling, waterfalls and other tools to assist in negotiation planning and preparation. Demonstrate value to the customer for existing or proposed deals.
* Support Sales Teams in driving client commitment and contract compliance by building, maintaining, and updating appropriate tools and ensuring a regular review process throughout the life of the deal. Set up appropriate KPIs to monitor each exiting deal and proactively inform CCMs/KAMs about any remarkable deviation.
* Integrate new products and services into existing deals (e.g., assessing performance impact, aligning Customer Service, etc.). Be aware of all the sales programs available in BSC (Pay Per Procedures, Capital Placements, Risk Sharing programs). Ensure standardization across different deals and customers.
* Provide regular updates on relevant KPI measurements, support the QBR process, contribute to LT presentations (AOP, Strat Plan) and other business review tools.
* Participate in customer meetings (e.g., negotiations, tender processes) and provide analytical support to the CCM/KAM throughout the process.
* Demonstrate an understanding of economic customer segments, needs and trends, and leverage this in customer meetings as well as analytical tasks. Draw actionable insights from reports and analytics.
* Source external economic and commercial data, and internal BSC data from relevant stakeholders and systems to drive analyses that inform customer meetings.
* Collaborate with stakeholders within the Cluster and other support teams (e.g., Cluster Finance, Customer Service) and other divisional teams for best practice sharing.
Who are we looking for
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science or similar disciplines.
* 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position in a multinational company.
* Good understanding of data and reporting systems; knowledge of SAP-ERP and/or Tableau is highly recommended.
* Analytically minded and able to translate requirements into optimal analyses, reports and insights.
* Proficiency with MS Office, especially MS Excel.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
* Enthusiastic, determined and goal oriented.
* Ability to lead projects with deliverables, deadlines and key milestones. Problem solver and self-motivated.
* Flexibility to travel across the indicated region.
