Cleaning Contract Manager – Education Division
We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Contract Manager to join our growing Education Division, overseeing a large multi-site contract across the Cheshire and Staffordshire regions.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing all aspects of cleaning operations across multiple school sites. You will have direct line management responsibility for approximately 80 operatives, including supervisors, and will bring the energy, drive, and vision needed to take the contract forward.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional levels of satisfaction.
* Oversee and deliver high-quality cleaning services across all sites.
* Lead, coach, and develop local service teams, including recruitment and performance management.
* Manage financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
* Conduct audits, prepare reports, and deliver projects as required to support the Operations Manager.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
* Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, cost efficiencies, and account growth.
About You:
* Proven experience in contract or facilities management, ideally within the cleaning industry.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
* Commercially astute with experience in financial management, analysis, and reporting.
* Skilled at forward planning, problem-solving, and working under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Strong IT literacy and confidence using management systems.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety systems within the cleaning sector.
* Flexible, trustworthy, and innovative, with a passion for delivering service excellence.
* Previous experience in education site cleaning would be an advantage.
