As a Cost Accountant, you'll help steer the company's financial operations by ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in cost reporting. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact business.
* Onsite role - 5 days in the office
* Location - Central London
* Salary - £45,000 to £55,000 DOE
What can you expect?
* Manage elements of the P&L related to logistics costs.
* Assist with posting accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliation.
* Performing variance analysis for forecast vs budget.
* Produce monthly and weekly forecasts for cashflow.
* Coordinate with external partners to manage payments and resolve invoicing issues.
* Manage AP/AR transactions linked to key operational activities.
* Ensure timely invoicing, approvals under delegated authority, and accurate coding.
* Handle cost documentation.
* Document and update key financial procedures to ensure compliance and clarity.
What skills/ experience will you bring?
* At least 3/4 years of experience in a Accounting role and currently working towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified/ finalist.
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and cost control.
* Strong Excel skills and SAP knowledge is a plus.
* Confident with financial systems, reconciliations, and reporting.
