Operations Project Manager
to join a growing, engineering-led organisation operating within the
vehicle technology, CCTV and security systems sector
.
This business delivers nationwide installation and support of:
* Vehicle CCTV & on-board camera systems
* Surveillance & crime prevention technology
* Mobile Digital Video Recorders (MDVR)
* Fleet safety & monitoring systems
* Engineering installation & UK-wide service support

This is a fantastic opportunity for a structured, commercially aware
Project Manager
to coordinate and deliver national engineering projects within a fast-paced technical environment.
The Role – Project Manager
As Operations Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of multiple UK projects, ensuring they are completed:
On time
Within budget
To contractual & compliance standards
To the highest operational quality
You will work cross-functionally with
sales, purchasing, warehouse and installation teams
to ensure projects are effectively planned, resourced and executed.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
* Develop detailed project plans (scope, deliverables, timelines)
* Coordinate project initiation, execution, monitoring and closure
* Structure projects into manageable phases and milestones
* Ensure all work meets operational and contractual standards
Engineering & Installation Oversight
* Review survey reports, schematics and Bills of Materials (BoM)
* Brief installation teams prior to site attendance
* Schedule and occasionally attend UK project sites
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
Stakeholder & Client Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
* Provide regular client updates and progress reports
* Manage expectations and resolve project issues efficiently
Budget, Risk & Resource Management
* Monitor budgets and manage resource allocation
* Identify and mitigate project risks
* Escalate operational concerns when required
About You
You will have:
* Proven Project Management experience within:
* Engineering
* Vehicle Technology
* CCTV / Security Systems
* Transport Technology
* Fleet Technology
* Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong organisational and time management ability
* Commercial awareness with attention to detail
* Experience managing project budgets and operational delivery
Qualifications
* Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business or similar (or equivalent experience)
* PRINCE2, PMP or similar certification (desirable)
