We’re seeking a proven senior Tax Director to join a multi-site, international hospitality organisation backed by private equity and poised for significant expansion.
This is a newly created, first-in-role opportunity for to establish and lead the tax function you will have end-to-end responsibility for all tax matters across a multi-jurisdictional portfolio.
The role is pivotal in supporting continued business growth, investment activity, and governance within a global, private equity-backed environment.
The successful individual will combine strong technical tax expertise with a pragmatic, commercially minded approach, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and the investor tax team to ensure robust compliance, effective tax structuring, and proactive risk management.This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape tax strategy, build scalable processes, and support an ambitious international growth agenda.
Role Overview Lead and own the global tax function across a multi-jurisdictional, private equity-backed business.
Ensure robust compliance, reporting, and governance across all operating territories.
Act as the senior tax advisor on acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, and structuring.
Oversee external advisors and investor reporting requirements.
Provide pragmatic, commercial tax guidance to Finance and Legal teams.
Manage transfer pricing, legislative risk, and international tax exposure.
Strengthen tax controls, forecasting, and scalable processes as the business grows.
Experience & Background Proven experience leading tax within a multi-site business, ideally within hospitality, leisure, retail/property/real estate and a multi-jurisdictional portfolio.
Strong exposure to international tax compliance, structuring, and governance across multiple jurisdictions.
Extensive experience working within a private equity-backed business.
Track record of partnering with senior leadership on transactions, investment activity, and strategic decision-making.
