About the Team The Schools Capital & Organisation Team is responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of school places in B&NES. These responsibilities include ensuring sufficiency of suitable places at schools within the area. About the Role The post holder will be responsible for acting in the role of client and overseeing the delivery of capital projects at schools. This will provide an exciting opportunity to be involved in the design and construction of new school buildings as well as the remodelling of existing schools within the local community. Additionally, the post holder will be expected to work closely with colleagues in other Council departments to oversee delivery of the school s repairs and maintenance programme. The post holder will act as the liaison point for schools in all issues related to school buildings. About You The prospective post holder should have excellent project management and interpersonal skills. They will be expected to work on their own initiative, have the ability to monitor financial information and manage their own workload.
