As our Principal Social Worker, you will:
* 🟦 Lead the development of high‑quality social work practice across the service
* 🟦 Provide independent scrutiny, assurance, and professional challenge
* 🟦 Drive improvement through audit, learning, and reflective practice
* 🟦 Champion innovation, research‑informed approaches, and continuous development
* 🟦 Oversee the Social Work Academy, ASYE programme, and workforce development
* 🟦 Influence strategic policy, practice standards, and service improvement
* 🟦 Work collaboratively across the partnership to strengthen safeguarding practice
* 🟦 Support colleagues through change with clarity, empathy, and expertise
This is a role for someone who brings deep professional credibility, a strong grasp of national and local practice frameworks, and the ability to inspire social workers at all levels.
