Overview
We’re recruiting an Identity and Access Administrator to join our ICT service at Milton Keynes City Council. We support colleagues across the organisation by keeping our systems secure, accessible and compliant, so the council can deliver more than 200 vital services to residents every day. This role protects council data and systems by managing how colleagues access our digital tools and information. You’ll help ensure the right people have the right access at the right time, working with security colleagues to monitor threats, respond to incidents and continually improve how information is protected across the council. This role is well suited to someone with strong experience in identity and access management who enjoys problem solving and working collaboratively across teams.
Working arrangements
This role may be suitable for home working, following an assessment. Home-based roles require a minimum of one day per week working from the office or site.
Responsibilities
* Manage access to digital tools and information to ensure appropriate permissions and timely provisioning and de-provisioning.
* Monitor threats in collaboration with security colleagues; respond to incidents and support investigations.
* Contribute to continual improvement of information protection across the council.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in identity and access management (IAM).
* Problem solving and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
