Are you searching for a rewarding and fulfilling position that supports your local community? Are you available during school term times to join Lincolnshire County Council as a School Crossing Patrol Officer?
If you are passionate about promoting active travel and contributing to community safety, consider joining our Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership Team on Harlaxton Road, Grantham. In this part-time role (working 5 hours per week during term time, with 30 minutes at the beginning and end of the school day), you'll be fully trained to manage traffic professionally and make a positive impact in the community, crossing families at a designated crossing point. Each day, you will play a crucial role in helping to keep children safe during their journeys to and from school. The rewards you will receive include seeing the smiles and excited faces of the pupils eager to greet you.
With a love for working outdoors, you will arrive on time at the beginning and end of the school day, and enjoy supporting and communicating with children, drivers, parents, teachers, and even saying hello to the odd furry friend! You will, of course, also be provided with an eye-catching uniform to keep you safe, visible, warm, and dry.
Join our team and enjoy competitive hourly rates, access to a comprehensive rewards and benefits package, and the opportunity to contribute to a safer school community and environment.
