Job Title: Teaching Assistants Location: Wareham and surrounding areas Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day and short-term supply, with potential for longer-term roles Salary: £85–£95 per day (dependent on experience) Overview Teaching Personnel is recruiting reliable and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in the Wareham area. Schools require flexible staff who can cover short-notice absences and contribute positively to classroom learning. Role Responsibilities • Support pupils in class, small groups, and 1:1 • Assist teachers with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and resource preparation • Encourage pupil engagement and positive learning behaviours • Adapt quickly to different school environments • Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold school policies Requirements • Experience working with children or young people (school-based preferred) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) • Availability for short-notice supply work • A calm, supportive, and professional approach What We Offer • £85–£95 daily pay • Frequent day-to-day supply opportunities • Access to longer-term placements where available • A dedicated consultant for ongoing support • CPD opportunities, including safeguarding and SEN modules How to Apply Submit your CV and availability.
