A specialist alternative provision in High Wycombe is looking for a Motor Vehicle Tutor to support young people who thrive through practical, hands-on learning. This setting works with students who benefit from a more vocational and personalised approach to education, helping them build confidence, skills and positive pathways for the future. You’ll deliver engaging mechanics sessions to small groups of KS3–KS4 learners, supporting both their technical development and personal growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with industry experience who wants to make a real impact. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging motor vehicle and mechanics sessions Teach practical skills such as maintenance, servicing and basic repairs Support students to gain vocational skills and confidence Adapt learning to meet individual needs and abilities Promote positive behaviour and engagement in a workshop environment Track progress and support learners towards qualifications or outcomes Requirements ✅ Experience in motor vehicle mechanics or a related trade Experience working with young people, education or training (desirable) A patient, supportive and motivational approach Ability to engage learners who may have SEMH or additional needs Right to Work in the UK At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority.
