Responsibilities
* Provide care at a high standard to help residents and be available for them.
* Demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting.
* Work within a positive behaviour support framework, accept responsibility, handle stress and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner.
* Follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
* Be flexible to cover a mixture of days, night, sleep-in shifts and waking watches; the service operates 24/7 and we will try to align work with your availability.
* Undertake the role of Support Worker/Care Assistant to plan with the person’s circle of support, promote happiness, health and achievement of wishes and aspirations.
* Participate in person-centred planning meetings and co-produced processes with the people we support and their families.
* Develop skills and gain experience that can underpin a career in adult social care.
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience is preferred but not essential; full training including online e-learning is available through our preferred training academy.
* Ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard and work within a positive behaviour support setting.
* Demonstrates maturity to work within a positive behaviour support framework and to follow guidelines.
* Flexible and able to cover a mixture of days, nights, sleep-ins and waking watches.
