Associate Director - Compliance & Risk Recruitment
Meraki Talent are working with a leading professional services organisation to help them identify a Compliance & Risk Analyst, this is a newly created role reporting into the Head of Compliance.
Some of your duties will include:
* Assist in ensuring that a risk and compliance culture is embedded within the organisation by facilitating and organisation training and communication on compliance matters.
* CDD and AML, processes & procedures
* Update firmwide risk assessment and policies and procedures on a timely basis
* Provide clear and accurate reporting with regards to compliance findings and breaches
* Updating reference templates used for client onboarding solution e.g. engagement/disengagement letters with regulatory updates on a timely basis.
* Support with putting in place a procedure for identifying all potential conflicts of interest (e.g. audits). Co-ordinate any assessment and identification of the conflicts and work with the team to resolve such conflicts. This may mean declining work or ensuring adequate safeguards are in place.
* In coordination with the Head of Compliance provide advice and guidance to partners, managers and employees on compliance related queries
* Understand GDPR requirements and following direction from the Head of Compliance ensure Group compliance risks are managed and any ICO reports are made on a timely basis.
* Assist with drafting new regulatory guidelines for the company and with the implementation of new regulatory requirements
We are looking for:
* Previous experience of working in an accounting or legal firm or similar essential
* Previous experience in a Compliance & Risk role in a regulatory environment
* A good knowledge of CDD and AML processes
* Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills and Experience
* Previous GDPR experience highly desirable
