This is a full-time, permanent position based initially in Ipswich, Suffolk.

About The Role
This Trainee Financial Adviser role offers a long-term opportunity to grow into a key member of the business. You will work in a supportive environment focused on high standards, client care, and career development. Your responsibilities include supporting the advice process through administration and paraplanning tasks, studying towards professional qualifications, shadowing client meetings, and learning how to deliver financial advice.
Key Responsibilities
* Client & admin support: Handling day-to-day client service, processing new business, managing documentation, and liaising with providers.
* Paraplanning & technical assistance: Gathering and analyzing client data, researching products, and preparing reports under supervision.
* Client engagement & meeting support: Attending meetings, preparing packs, taking notes, and managing follow-ups.
* Professional development: Working towards your Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with full study support, aiming for qualification within 24 months.
* Progression to adviser role: Transitioning to managing client review meetings and developing new client relationships post-CAS.
What They Are Looking For
* Long-term commitment to a career in financial advice
* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to start with the basics
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and cashflow modelling tools
* A degree is advantageous but not essential
