We’re now looking for a commercially sharp, technically curious Senior Recruitment Consultant & Team Leader to take ownership of our Go-To-Market (GTM) desk - with a clear pathway into leadership.
This is a true 360 role where you’ll lead from the front, managing the full recruitment lifecycle across Sales, Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Marketing roles within cutting-edge tech environments. Alongside billing, you’ll build and lead your own specialist GTM team - mentoring junior consultants and shaping the desk into a high-performing revenue stream.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to clients, leveraging our unique ecosystem, networks, and market insight to drive business development and deliver real value. We are now scaling our go-to-market capability and are looking for a commercially sharp, technically curious recruiter to lead that charge.
The Role
This is a dual-focus position combining high-performance billing with the responsibility of building and leading a small, specialist GTM recruitment team. You will own the full 360-degree recruitment lifecycle for go-to-market roles — covering Sales, Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Marketing — across the AI, Deep Tech, Edge AI, and IoT ecosystem.
In parallel, you will recruit, mentor, and develop junior consultants into the team, shaping the GTM desk into a standalone revenue engine within 5V Tech.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Business Development
* Manage the full 360 recruitment cycle for GTM roles across perm and contract within AI, Deep Tech, Edge AI, and IoT markets.
* Proactively develop new client relationships and expand existing accounts through consultative, insight-led engagement.
* Build and maintain a high-quality candidate network of GTM professionals operating in deep-tech and emerging-technology environments.
* Consistently achieve and exceed individual revenue targets, contributing directly to brand-level P&L performance.
* Leverage 5V Tech’s ecosystem position — including our partnership with the Edge AI Foundation, our IoT podcast reach, and WEF IoT Council membership — to generate warm leads and differentiated market access.
Team Leadership & Development
* Recruit, onboard, and develop junior consultants into your GTM team, instilling commercial discipline and sector expertise from day one.
* Set and monitor individual KPIs, pipeline metrics, and activity targets, holding the team to a high-performance standard.
* Run structured weekly 1:1s, desk reviews, and coaching sessions to accelerate team capability and billing output.
* Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and deep market knowledge within the GTM desk.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
* Develop and maintain a detailed map of the AI, Deep Tech, Edge AI, and IoT GTM landscape — including key companies, hiring patterns, compensation benchmarks, and talent flows.
* Contribute market insights to 5V Tech leadership to inform brand positioning, content strategy, and commercial planning.
* Represent 5V Tech at industry events, meetups, and conferences to build profile and generate pipeline.
Candidate Profile
Essential experience
* 3–5 years of 360 recruitment experience, with a demonstrable track record of billing consistently above target.
* Proven experience placing GTM / commercial roles (Sales, Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, or Marketing) within technology or deep-tech sectors.
* Strong commercial acumen — comfortable owning a desk P&L, forecasting pipeline, and driving business development independently.
* Genuine interest in and working knowledge of AI, Deep Tech, Edge AI, IoT, or adjacent frontier technology domains.
* Demonstrable ability to mentor or lead junior team members, even informally, with a clear appetite for formal leadership.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging credibly with C-suite and VP-level hiring managers.
Desirable
* Existing network of GTM professionals within the AI, semiconductor, embedded systems, or IoT ecosystem.
* Experience operating within a specialist or boutique recruitment environment (not solely high-volume generalist).
* Familiarity with Bullhorn CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
* Track record of placing internationally, particularly across EMEA and the US.
