Role Overview
Principal CDM Consultant position at a well‑established construction consultancy based in Nottingham. The successful individual will join a collaborative environment that places a strong emphasis on high‑quality project delivery across a wide portfolio, including Commercial, Infrastructure, Education and Healthcare sectors. This role offers a clear pathway for progression within a long‑running commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver CDM Principal Designer duties in line with the CDM 2015 regulations.
* Advise clients on their responsibilities and coordinate health and safety during the pre‑construction phase.
* Liaise with design teams to mitigate risk and lead design risk reviews.
* Produce and review pre‑construction information, ensuring that all documentation is compliant and up to date.
* Mentor junior staff and contribute to the wider CDM team’s development.
Required Qualifications
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
* Membership of IOSH and ideally APS (IMaPS or CMaPS).
* Proven experience delivering CDM Principal Designer services.
