Cedar Recruitment are currently supporting a Local Government with the Recruitment of a Systems Accountant to support on their journey whilst they go through an accounting system transformation.
The role is based in South East and will working 2 days per week in the office and comes with a very flexible day rate.
Main Duties:
* You will be working closely with the technical teams to help configure the system
* The role will involve attending regular project meetings to help assess the data
* Help with the testing of the system to ensure it is performing and functioning correctly
* Provide training to internal teams on the new system
Essential Experience:
* For the role you will need to be an experienced accountant with extensive Finance System and Process Improvement experience
* Extensive experience of working in a Local Government setting
* Be a qualified accountant ie. CIMA, ACCA etc.
* You will need have a strong understanding of the wider services and how they will feed into the system
* You must possess a flexible attitude and approach
