Dewey Group is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a solid background in piling to join a prestigious and high-profile nuclear infrastructure project based in Suffolk. We are working on a large-scale construction project that will play a key role in the UK’s energy future, offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to cutting-edge engineering works.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering the piling works across multiple phases of this major project. You will lead project teams, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure that the project is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage piling operations for a significant infrastructure project from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
*
Lead and motivate the project team, including subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring effective communication and smooth operations throughout the project lifecycle.
*
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, closely monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and making adjustments as needed.
*
Ensure full compliance with industry safety and environmental regulations, conducting risk assessments and ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained at all times.
*
Liaise regularly with clients, stakeholders, and senior management, providing updates and resolving any project issues or challenges that arise.
*
Oversee the procurement of materials, managing resource allocation and ensuring that the necessary materials and equipment are available as required.
*
Provide regular reporting on project performance, risks, and progress to senior leadership.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
*
Extensive experience in project management, specifically within the piling or construction industry.
*
Strong technical knowledge of piling techniques, equipment, and processes.
*
Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in regulated environments.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
*
Ability to manage complex projects, adhering to strict budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
*
Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental regulations in construction.
*
A valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications such as SMSTS or equivalent.
*
Full UK driving license.
Desirable:
*
Experience in nuclear, power, or other highly regulated projects.
*
Familiarity with a variety of piling techniques, such as CFA, Rotary, etc.
*
Experience with project management software and reporting tools.
*
Knowledge of the specific challenges and requirements of working on critical infrastructure projects.
