With a number of recent projects, doubling the size of their team in recent years, they are on the lookout for a Finance Manager to head up a small team within their function. This position will report into the Head of Finance and be responsible for management accounts, statutory accounts & involved in key projects.
Responsibilities:
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Management of a small team who are producing financial and management accounts
2. Producing monthly management accounts and financial reports
3. Supporting VAT and tax compliance
4. Leading external audit requests
5. Preparing and reviewing weekly cashflow forecasts
6. Leading the annual balance sheet budget and supporting P&L budgeting
7. Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts
8. Support the external and internal auditors when required
9. Responsible for the review and submission of cashflow forecasting
10. Responsible for the preparation and submission of the annual budget whilst supporting the budgeting of the Profit and Loss process
11. Managing stakeholder engagement
12. Identifying and implementing process improvements
13. Preparing and reviewing KPI’s for the finance team
Requirements:
As a Finance Manager, you will need:
14. Experience in statutory accounting
15. Supervisory experience
16. Strong analytical skills
17. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
18. ERP system experience
19. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
