Job description:
The Menu Partners is a diverse and fast-growing food business, supplying hotels, pubs, and restaurants across the UK with whole, prepared, and cooked food. Within our group, we also operate Absolute Taste (event catering), Absolute Taste Inflight (private jet catering), two farm shops, a pub, and more.
We are looking for a Freezer Forklift & Reach Truck Driver to join our team in Bicester. This is a physically active role in a freezer environment, so candidates must be comfortable working at low temperatures while handling stock safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate forklifts and reach trucks in both freezer and dry goods areas to move, store, and pick stock.
* Receive, unload, and store deliveries accurately and efficiently.
* Accurately process paperwork and maintain stock records, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
* Coordinate stock movement to relevant departments, including urgent or priority items.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised freezer and warehouse environment.
* Assist with stock counts, inventory management, and occasional general warehouse tasks.
* Help manage waste and ensure all work areas are tidy and safe.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Valid forklift and reach truck certification, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience operating both.
* Experience working in a freezer or chilled environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Physically able to handle manual tasks in a cold environment.
* Reliable, self-motivated, and dependable.
* Team player with a positive “can do” attitude.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills.
