We have an exciting opportunity for a specialist Band 6 post to join our Occupational Therapy Acute Palliative Care team within the Victoria Hospital.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to work alongside colleagues within the medical and surgical teams, primarily working with palliative patients.
You will have a strong interest in working with patients requiring palliative care to deliver effective, evidenced based treatment to optimise their occupational performance and to promote safe and timely discharge from hospital.
You will have a positive experience of managing their own case load and of multi agency working and will engage in quality improvement activities both collectively and independently. As a Band 6, you will be required to support and supervise registered and non-registered staff.
The occupational therapy department supports continuing professional development through supervision, TURAS appraisal, in-service programme, and training.
You should have the ability to travel throughout Fife effectively in a timely manner as required, to meet the needs of the service.
