OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health Nurse Advisor – Clinical Governance Lead to join an established in-house Occupational Health service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Occupational Health professional to take on a strategic leadership role within a growing Occupational Health unit focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Duties
* Provide professional and clinical leadership to the Occupational Health Nursing team
* Lead clinical governance processes, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice
* Support the delivery of health surveillance and statutory monitoring programmes
* Work closely with senior stakeholders to improve clinical outcomes and service delivery
* Oversee service performance, demand and capacity management
* Lead health promotion, wellbeing and risk management initiatives
* Support SEQOHS compliance, audit and assurance processes
* Hold a proportionate clinical caseload and contribute to nurse‑led clinics
* Provide line management, supervision and professional support to nursing staff
Criteria
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration
* Recognised Occupational Health Nursing qualification
* Extensive post‑qualification Occupational Health experience
* Previous leadership or management experience within Occupational Health
* Experience developing clinical governance frameworks and improving service delivery
* Strong communication, stakeholder management and IT skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation within an occupational setting
* Experience within complex or public sector Occupational Health environments
Salary & Benefits
