Affiliate Marketing Manager Hybrid (3 days in the office) | UK (Liverpool / Leeds) | Full-time At Velstar, affiliate marketing is a core growth channel for our clients. We’re looking for an Affiliate Marketing Manager to lead and scale high-performing affiliate programmes through smart partnerships, strong optimisation, and clear commercial ownership. This role is for someone who lives and breathes performance marketing, knows how to build meaningful partner relationships, and can turn insight into revenue, all while keeping one eye firmly on the bigger commercial picture. The role As Affiliate Marketing Manager, you’ll take ownership of client affiliate programmes end to end. You’ll manage relationships, oversee day-to-day operations, optimise performance, and mentor junior team members, ensuring affiliate activity delivers measurable growth and long-term value. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams, helping integrate affiliate marketing effectively into the wider marketing mix while maintaining clear communication, strong retention and commercial focus. What you’ll be doing Building and nurturing high-impact relationships with affiliate partners, influencers and media networks Overseeing day-to-day affiliate operations, including applications, approvals and campaign launches Analysing performance data to identify trends, optimise activity and maximise revenue and ROI Forecasting results and managing affiliate budgets to ensure efficient delivery against targets Mentoring and guiding junior team members on campaign management, reporting and partner communications Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to align affiliate activity with broader marketing goals Producing detailed performance reports to inform client strategy and senior leadership decisions Bringing forward new ideas and improvements to enhance affiliate programmes and unlock growth opportunities What we’re looking for You’re an experienced affiliate marketer with strong commercial instincts and a natural leadership style. You enjoy owning performance, building relationships, and helping others raise their game. You’ll likely have: Proven experience managing affiliate marketing programmes Strong analytical skills and confidence interpreting performance data Experience forecasting, budgeting and optimising for ROI Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with affiliate platforms such as Awin, Webgains, CJ, Rakuten or TikTok Shop A proactive, ownership-driven mindset in fast-paced environments Experience with affiliate network tracking and product feed optimisation is a bonus.
