Overview
Store Manager - Blackburn. Full responsibility for running a multi-million-pound store. Leadership, people development, operational standards, and sales performance.
Salary: £52,910 rising to £69,000.
Responsibilities
* Lead a multi-million-pound store in a fast-paced, stakeholder/customer-driven environment.
* Demonstrate strong leadership and people management; develop team capability and performance.
* Maintain high operational standards, manage stock, deliveries, and planning to hit targets.
* Drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and optimise cost control and operational efficiency.
* Plan team schedules and allocate resources to achieve operational targets.
* Coach and develop staff, support customer interactions, and ensure compliance through till and process checks.
* Be flexible with working hours, including weekends.
* Maintain commercial awareness and take ownership of a high-performing store environment.
Requirements
* Strong supervisory or management experience (retail preferred but not mandatory).
* Experience in leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
* Excellent time management, cost control, and operational efficiency focus.
* Motivation to consistently achieve targets.
* Comfortable with a very fast-paced, hands-on retail environment.
